Volunteer Green Skills Training Programme

Natural Neighbourhoods is a targeted programme of support run by community charity Groundwork. Join us on a 15-week volunteer training course in Green Skills, regenerating and enhancing local urban green spaces,, positively benefiting nature and biodiversity. Gain new knowledge and practical skills, including landscaping, environmental management, ecosystems and biodiversity, carbon literacy, climate mitigation, Health and safety. Improve your communication skills and confidence levels. Enhance team working and leadership abilities. Improve health and wellbeing through connection with nature and meeting likeminded individuals within a caring and inclusive community setting.
Effective communication skills, and ability to work harmoniously with others, and a flexible approach. Practical landscaping and/or conservation skills an advantage. However, most important is a motivation and willingness to learn, and a genuine interest in local and global environmental issues.

When do I need to be available?
