Posted for Groundwork Northamptonshire
The Green Patch is a community allotment/garden project in Kettering that supports a range of different activities, providing gardening, DIY, social and wildlife opportunities to both children and adults from a wide variety of ages, background and abilities. In addition to growing, The Green Patch has a cat, rabbits, chickens and ducks! The Green Patch runs adult volunteering days, after school clubs and occasional community events. Volunteers help to look after the whole site and can carry out a number of different tasks based on their interests and skills and can get involved in as many projects as they wish!
