Voluntary Management Committee Members
Posted for Little Oaks Pre-School
Little Oaks is an 'outstanding' charity run pre-school in the heart of Brackley offering sessional childcare for 2-4 year olds during term time. Run by an elected Voluntary Management Committee who meet once every half term in the evening.
The Management Committee is responsible for both policy and practice, managing finances, as well as the employment and appraisal of members of staff ensuring that major decisions regarding the setting are in the hands of the stakeholders. That said, the day to day running of the setting is firmly in the hands of the professional staff under the supervision of the Early Years Manager, and the Business Manager, who manage the implementation of the curriculum within the setting and deal with the children’s development and welfare.
Being a Trustee on the Management Committee is an interesting and very rewarding experience and gives individuals the opportunity to get involved in the wider life of the Pre-school.
They are seeking new members to join the Committee for 2021-2022. The AGM for 2021 will be taking place on Tuesday 21st September where any new members will be welcomed.
