The 19 residents at William Blake House (WBH) are young adults with severe learning disabilities who live, learn and work with others in relationships based on mutual care and respect in family style settings.
Care is provided in the four care homes by paid staff and volunteers from a range of nationalities and backgrounds.
WBH currently has four trustees and is looking for people with skills in the financial area to give the Trustees the confidence to ensure the financial viability and longevity of the organisation.
- An interest in the care and development of those with learning disabilities.
- An excellent knowledge of finance/accounting at a reasonably senior level.
- A qualified Accountant would be an added bonus to the Board!

When do I need to be available?
Attendance at 4 Board of Trustee meetings each year, usually a weekday for 3 hours in Blakesley.
Email correspondence and occasional conference calls.
