Secretary of Kettering Local Group
Posted for Diabetes UK Midlands [K]
Diabetes UK is the leading charity that cares for, connects with and campaigns on behalf of every person affected by or at risk of diabetes.
We provide information, help and peer support, so people with diabetes can manage their condition effectively. We are one of the largest funders of diabetes research in the UK.
Local groups provide a relaxed and informal environment for individuals with diabetes to meet and share experiences. They can be an extremely useful source of support and information, especially to those who are newly diagnosed or struggling with the management of their diabetes.
As well as this, local groups also provide valuable support to the work of Diabetes UK through fundraising, campaigning and raising awareness.
