Home-Start Northampton  are a voluntary organisation committed to promoting the welfare of families with at least one child under five years of age and living in the Borough of Northampton. Volunteers offer regular support, friendship and practical help to families, under stress, in their own homes, helping to prevent family crisis and breakdown.

 

We currently have a position for a new Trustee in the role of PR and Marketing Lead, who will  be able to expand our digital reach and engagement as far as possible through social media and other media. To raise our profile in the public domain; raise awareness of who we are, what we do and who we support, working with the trustees and staff to be engaged and offering stories, quotes, case studies and to develop a forward plan and be inventive on how it can be achieved.

 

Our Board of Trustees, like other volunteers, give their time and experience to make our organisation the best it can be. Our Board is responsible for setting the direction of our organisation, strategic decisions, governance, legal compliance and leadership. Working closely with the Manager and the staff, Trustees are essential to the operation of our charity.
