Mentoring Project

Northamptonshire Children Trust are currently looking for volunteers to take part in an amazing Mentoring Project. You will be supporting young people aged 11-17 years with the following issues:
- Low emotional well-being / self-esteem
- Anxiety – Mental Health
- Domestic Violence
- Low level drug/alcohol use
- Gender Identity / Sexuality
- Anger issues
- Bullying
- Victim of Crime
- Healthy Relationships
- Social Isolation
Northamptonshire Children Trust ask you to provide with 2/3 hours per week where you will be case holding one young person in your preferred area.
Their intervention is up to 6 months although due to circumstances, may be less. As part of safer recruitment they are request a reference and DBS is provided.
This is a fantastic opportunity for those who would like to give back to our community!
Skills
Experience working within the social care sector / with young people is desirable for the role, but not essential. A full clean driving license is also essential.
If you are interested in supporting young people who are at low level risk.
