Making a difference, one meal at a time
Posted for Cooking Good - Community Cooking
Cooking Good! is a new community cooking project to help families do just that! a cost free, personalised cooking experience in your own home and/or at group demonstrations. It's about having fun, cooking healthy food on a budget and helping families in particular areas, with children under the age of 11, healthy lifestyles will also form part of this.
Can you help support the project?
Volunteers are needed to help with the cooking and demonstrations, and with advice on how to manage fussy eaters!
Skills
Volunteers need to be comfortable with cooking and helping children and parents to cook from scratch with raw ingredients, in a community setting such as a community hall or school.
A Food Hygiene Certificate would be helpful but not essential, as training will be given.
