We are seeking a volunteer with a finance, book-keeping, or accounting background to join the Board of Trustees of the Northamptonshire & Buckinghamshire Dyslexia Association.
The role is on an ad-hoc basis and can accommodate lifestyle and other commitments of the volunteer. The volunteer will be working closely with the Membership Secretary and the Chair or CEO of the charity.
An interest in dyslexia (perhaps a family member or friend with the condition) would be an advantage.
We are looking to fill this role as soon as possible. Meetings are currently held online and telephone contact with the exception of the AGM
Whilst we are looking for someone with financial or accounting qualifications or experience, it would also be desirable to have experience of charity governance and working with or as part of a Board of Trustees, along with the following;
- Knowledge of M.S. Teams system would be an advantage
- Knowledge of Accounting or Book-keeping
- Competent user of Excel
- The Ability to write the end of year financial report for the Annual General Meeting
