Volunteers give emotional and practical help to parents experiencing difficulties. By visiting families in their own homes and offering friendship and support. All families have at least one child under five.
Opportunities exist to work with families across South Northamptonshire and Daventry. This opportunity will require an enhanced Disclosure and Barring (DBS) check.
Skills
Must have parenting experience
Must be a good listener, able to respect the need for confidentiality.
Available 2 - 3 hours a week to support a family.
Be willing to complete a 10 week course of preparation.
