Are you handy with a hammer? Do you have the skills to nail minor DIY jobs? Could you spare a few hours a week on a regular basis to help older people in your area? Then you will be ideal for this rewarding role!
As an Age UK Handyperson volunteer, you will be calling at clients' homes, carrying out small DIY tasks.
If you have basic DIY skills, are confident using an electric drill and have access to transport, please get in touch.
The Handyperson Service has continued to support older people in the county during the coronavirus pandemic by carrying out essential work in the home which helps keep people safe when they leave hospital.
