Group Scout Leader

They are looking for enthusiastic, reliable and flexible volunteers with management experience who would like to do more in their community, with good interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate and inspire others, and offer vibrant, exciting and adventurous programmes for young people aged 6 - 14.
As Group Scout Leader you will be responsible for leading a group of volunteers offering amazing scouting opportunities for young people and being a valued part of the group committee, ensuring that good quality Scouting for young people is provided, and taking local scouting forward into the future.
You will need to be capable of providing effective management and support for people of all ages.
You should be prepared to attend evening meetings locally and undertake other tasks from home at a time that suits you.
The skills required for the role include being able to lead a group of volunteers who provide amazing opportunities for young people, and be able to motivate and inspire others as part of a team.
Administer and be a trustee of the group as well as being a key role on the Executive Committee.
