Generalist Navigator

Working with members of European communities, providing guidance, information, and language support (where applicable) on general matters of concern to the client. Conducting face-to-face or telephone appointment sessions, gathering information from the client, and analyzing the evidence.
Producing a summary note for the purpose of casework and accessing any urgent needs to be addressed. Following up - discussing with a caseworker or the senior and leading on the next steps.
Liaising with Third Parties from Private Sector:
- managing communication with solicitors and barristers who we are currently co-working with
- building new relationship to meet the need of the business and to improve service we offer to clients
- growing our networks by seeking new service contracts and improving the existing ones
· Act as an ambassador of our main company ethos:
- caring, nurturing and delivering the main company views, aims and objectives
- growing our service by constantly delivering the message across to the community and stakeholders
- reviewing and improving the company's ethos by reflecting the changing needs of our communities in line with changes to the Law and daily
· Attend necessary training sessions, attend seminars/webinars on behalf of the firm where it might be considered beneficial to the growth and development:
- seek out and register in person or other staff members to the relevant training sessions and webinars (any paid webinars to be prior discussed with the management of the firm)
- keep the personal records of staff in a manageable format (Excel / Word table) to keep record of all training attended
- attend the necessary upskilling sessions yourself to gain new skills and improve the service
· Look after existing cohort of staff and volunteers:
· Assist senior management with management of records of existing staff
· Place relevant volunteering and paid position job adverts out in public domain
· Assist senior management with job interviews for new freelancers / part-timers / contractors
· (FOR HR trained staff) Advice senior management accordingly on what steps must be taken to ensure compliance with Employment Law in relations to employer-employee duty:
· (Where relevant qualification allows) take responsibility for overlooking employment law and keep records of staff holidays / sick days / days of absence
· Ensure understanding of Employment Law and assist senior management in meeting it’s employer’s duty
