Gardening assistant
Posted for Groundwork Northamptonshire
We are looking for committed individuals willing to visit the site and tend our vegetable plants on a regular basis e.g. twice a week for 1 hour at a time or whatever suits. This could include removing side shoots from tomatoes, weeding, earthing up potatoes or pruning fruit bushes depending on what needs doing at the time. It is an opportunity to get involved with other activities on the site including general gardening or supporting on our various sessions. Whilst support will be given, the ability to work independently is essential.
Skills
Basic knowledge of gardening such as growing your own at home or similar. Reliability. Ability to work independently.
