We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Day Centre Volunteers. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide valuable support to our service users and contribute positively to the local community.

Skills

Key Responsibilities:

·        Assist with setting up and tidying the day centre

·        Serve refreshments and meals to clients

·        Support clients during activities such as crafts, games, and gentle exercise

·        Offer companionship and friendly conversation

·        Help with light administrative tasks as needed

Requirements:

·        A warm and welcoming attitude

·        Good communication skills and patience

·        Reliability and a willingness to engage with others

·        No prior experience necessary – full training and support will be provided

When do I need to be available?

Start Date: 24/06/2025

End Date: 31/07/2026

Availability Details

Monday, Wednesday and Friday 10am until 2.30pm or choose to do a morning or afternoon (The Day Centre)
Tuesday 10.15am until 12pm (Senior Social Group)
Every second Tuesday of the month 10.15am until 3pm, or choose to just do the afternoon (musical Moments)
Thursday 10.30am until 12.30pm (Community Space)
