The Knit and Natter group for older people meets in the New Street Cafe on Wednesday mornings from 10.00am, to chat, socialise, and have a cup of tea or coffee from the Cafe. The group bring their own knitting, crochet, or other craft to the group and exchange ideas, and help each other learn new skills. New members are always welcome.

We are looking for volunteers to take part in the group activities to support group members with teaching knitting and crochet skills, and to help make the group a friendly, social place for older people to come to.

Knitting, crochet, or craft skills and the ability to chat easily with elderly people.
