Be part of a dynamic team who offers regular and reliable contact to people who have been recently bereaved.

You will meet with clients in person and speak on the phone to allow them to express their feelings and the effect of their loss, offering information about grief and common experiences associated with it. You will write notes on each contact and ensure original client notes are stored appropriately.

It is essential you engage with monthly supervision and attend bereavement service training sessions. It is an intensive, but thorough initial training programme including two weekends and nine evenings.

The course will start in February 2019 but interviews will take place before Christmas.

Skills

You must be able to communicate effectively and sensitively and have excellent listening skills.
