Are you a crafty person?
Posted for Charity Crafts (snvb)
Would you like to join a small and friendly Charity Crafts circle? If you can sew, knit, crochet or make greeting cards please come along. Our aim is to make items from donated materials which are then given and used by local community organisations. For example we have made traditional bonnets, skirts and waistcoats, which will be worn by school children visiting the Canal Museum. Additionally, we knit baby clothes for local hosptials and babycare units.
We meet on the 2nd Wednesday of every month between 2.00 pm and 3.30 pm at Towcester Volunteer Centre, Whittons Lane Towcester. However some of our members knit the items from home. If you are unable to attend these meeting but would still like to help please contact the Volunteer Centre for further information.
