To support our customers to maintain good health, wellbeing and sense of community by planning , assisting in or delivering a specific or multiple activities within our Retirement Living schemes. We help run many activities for our residents both fees / non fees. We are always looking for new opportunities for our residents to get involved in. We currently have a few activities we require assistance with; games club, walking group and drama club. However we are really excited to find other leaders! Key Responsibilities; • Designing and facilitating a specific or multiple activities that enable our customers to learn, laugh, live independently and be excited about their future. • Delivering activities that are fun and entertaining, creating a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere within schemes that deliver high levels of customer satisfaction. • Ensuring that activities are inclusive and allow customers of all abilities to participate. • Ensuring that all activities are delivered safely and in accordance with Midland Heart’s Health and Safety Policy and Procedure. • Where funding is required for activity, managing funds and keeping an accurate, robust record of expenditure.


• Ability to think creatively and design innovative activities that promote positive wellbeing, health and sense of community. • Excellent communication and facilitation skills with the ability to engage a diverse audience with diverse needs and encourage them to fully participate in activities. • A desire to make a difference to people’s lives and encourage older people to pursue new dreams and goals. • Understanding of and commitment to the principles of equality and diversity.

Our activity leaders are self responsible for the activity they wish to run within the village or wish to help alongside. These will be booked in / dealt with on a one by one basis.
