Northamptonshire – Small Green Arts Fund
Grants are available to charities in Northamptonshire for community-focused arts and culture projects that raise awareness of climate change.
The scheme aims to support a broad range of arts, culture and craft activity across Northamptonshire that responds to and raises awareness of the climate crisis, and encourages local communities to look at ways of adapting and responding to climate change.
Eligible applicants must:
- Be a small, locally managed, voluntary or community organisation, such as a charity, constituted community group, social enterprise, community interest company (CIC), or a company limited by guarantee with charitable aims.
- Be based in Northamptonshire.
- Have a set of written rules or constitution that your group adheres to, that contains a dissolution clause.
- Have safeguarding policies in place if relevant to your work and all groups must have an equalities policy in place.
The Fund will consider a wide range of arts projects. Some examples include:
- Pedal-powered and solar-powered outdoor arts events.
- Projects using sustainable and/or recycled materials and zero-waste practices.
- Celebrating natural heritage and the connections between humans and biodiversity.
Applications can be made at any time and will be assessed on a rolling basis.
