Let’s Create Jubilee Fund – Deadline Reminder
Funding to support the delivery of creative and cultural activities as part of the Platinum Jubilee in June 2022.
Groups across England can still apply for their share of a £5 million funding pot for arts-based activities which engage local communities in honour of the Queen’s Jubilee.
Grants of between £750 and £10,000 are on offer for projects engaging with at least one of the following artforms supported by Arts Council England (ACE):
- Visual arts
- Combined arts – including festivals and carnivals
- Museum and library activities
The Fund, which is being administered by UK Community Foundations, is open to voluntary and community organisations with charitable aims.
Applicants are encouraged to partner with an artist, creative or cultural organisation that has been in receipt of ACE funding within the last four years to help to deliver the project. This is not essential, but it is expected that the largest awards grants (£5,000 to £10,000) will involve this type of partnership.
Projects can begin from 1 April 2022 so that preparation such as rehearsals may take place. Public-facing activity should take place in June near the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Weekend.
The closing date in Northamptonshire is 28th February 2022
