Grow, Cook & Eat Co-ordinator
Salary: £26 – £28,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Based in Kettering, but working across the North of the County
Groundwork Northamptonshire are looking for a passionate, organised and dedicated individual to join our team, as the Grow, Cook & Eat Co-ordinator for a new programme we are launching in North Northamptonshire. You will be responsible for the overall running of the exciting new programme aimed at increasing community capacity to Grow, Cook & Eat healthily.
You will be confident in Community development and working in a wide range of community settings, have a flexible and creative approach to talking about food, including the cooking and eating aspect and you will have ideas and skills to support groups to consider how they can provide their own food, with green spaces and growing initiatives.
As part of the programme delivery you will be confident working with groups and individuals to cascade learning and advice about food and heathy eating habits, supporting groups to apply for a small grant to enable further work to happen.
You will be a strong communicator, working in partnerships to develop further activities and supporting volunteers to bring their passion and commitment to the programme.
You will be organised with administrative tasks, able to manage budgets, complete reports, gather monitoring and evaluation and host grant panel meetings to enable the small grant to be allocated.
The most important factors in this role are your commitment and connection with Communities and the passion to talk, teach and encourage healthy practices linked to cooking and eating – making the connection to growing your own and local food.
