Impetus Seeking Charity Partners for Youth Employment and Equity Projects
Funding for non-profit organisations which are helping young people from ethnic minority backgrounds into employment.
Registered charities and social enterprises in the UK can now apply for unrestricted, core funding to help them deliver programmes that support disadvantaged young people into employment, education or training.
This funding round will provide four grants, which can range from £30,000 to £100,000 per year for two years.
To be considered eligible, groups must have an income of at least £100,000 in the last independently examined set of accounts, and be supporting at least 50 young people per year who are:
- Between 16 and 24 years of age.
- From socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds.
- At least 40% from ethnic minority backgrounds.
Impetus is particularly interested in organisations working outside of London (specifically Yorkshire and the Humber, West Midlands and North West) and those working with Bangladeshi, Pakistani, Black and Gypsy/Roma Traveller young people.
Successful organisations will also receive specialist support from the Impetus investment team.
The deadline to apply is 27 March 2022 (midnight).
