Gardening With Disabilities Trust
Maybe you work with someone or know of someone who would benefit from this because keeping on top of your garden can be difficult for some people.
The Gardening With Disabilities Trust offers small grants of typically under £900 to help disabled people, older people and those living with illness continue gardening by funding practical adjustments and equipment.
Grants can support items such as raised beds, greenhouses, tools, plants, compost and small scale garden adaptations, with the Trust paying suppliers directly rather than giving cash to applicants.
This fund is open to individuals and some groups supporting disabled gardeners, and applicants usually need supporting evidence of their disability from a health professional, plus an official document such as a PIP letter or Blue Badge.
Deadline: ongoing. Applications are reviewed regularly, with no fixed deadline.
