Climate Action Fund
The 10-year £100 million Climate Action Fund was launched by the National Lottery Community Fund in November 2019 with the aim of supporting communities across the UK to take action on climate change and show what is possible when people lead in this work.
In 2020, the first round awarded funding to 23 projects across the UK.
The second round is now open with a focus on supporting medium-scale to large-scale projects addressing waste and consumption. The focus remains on place-based, community-led partnerships that will make the changes in their community they believe will have the biggest impact on climate change.
Round two is now open with a deadline of 5pm on 8 April 2021 for initial ideas.
