Arnold Clark Community Fund Reopens for Winter Funding

Funding for local not-for-profit organisations working with food banks, toy banks, housing and accommodation and poverty relief in the UK.

Arnold Clark, the UK’s largest independently owned, family-run car retailer, has created the Arnold Clark Community Fund to support communities across the UK in which it operates.

The fund currently aims to help UK charities and local community groups continue their important work which may be at risk due to the coronavirus pandemic.

During the winter campaign, the funder is offering grants of up to £1,000 to be used for charitable or community purposes.

The funding is intended to support organisations dealing with or addressing the following categories:

  • Food banks
  • Toy banks
  • Poverty relief
  • Housing and accommodation.

Please note that the fund is expected to open to a wider range of categories at the beginning of 2022.

Applications are currently accepted from:

  • UK registered charities
  • Local community groups
  • Social enterprises
  • Community interest companies
  • Groups of organisations that are community or voluntary led
  • Charitable incorporated organisations

Applications will be granted on a weekly basis. Any applications which have not been granted will roll over into the following week(s) for the duration of the campaign.

The deadline for applications is 31 December 2021 (23:59).
