Community Connections Assistant – Safe ‘n’ Sound

Are you interested in getting involved with your community and meeting new people? We are looking for volunteers to help at Community Connections events held in villages throughout the South Northants area. Duties include greeting visitors and recording their details. Maybe you would prefer to help the Safe ‘n’ Sound team set up and pack away display equipment. Community Connections events take place approximately once a month and last around 4 hours. Volunteers will need to have their own transport. Travelling expenses will be paid and refreshments will be provided. 

Unit Guider/Assistant Guider/Unit Helper

Towcester GirlGuiders are looking for volunteers to set up and run a Rainbow Unit for girls aged between 5 and 7 years, teaching them life skills and social skills. This opportunity could appeal to 2 or 3 friends working together.

You will need a sense of fun, plenty of enthusiasm and a willingness to work with the age group. This opportunity will require an enhanced Criminal Record Bureau (CRB) check.

Drop In Volunteers

Could you help vulnerable young people aged between 16 and 25? BYHP is a Banbury based organisation which offers help to young people with housing needs. They are looking for drop-in volunteers who can talk to and spend time with young people.
