How to volunteer

If you live or work in South Northamptonshire, come and see us at our Towcester or Brackley Volunteer Centres. Our organisation has a commitment to YOU. We will provide all the information and support you need to make your voluntary work a success and to ensure that the time and effort you are offering isn’t wasted.

For more information you can make an appointment for a confidential "interview" with our Volunteering Co-ordinator. This is really an informal chat, lasting approximately 30-45 minutes. This gives us the opportunity to find out a little bit more about you, your interests and skills.

Alternatively, send us an e-mail, or visit the national volunteering database at www.do-it.org.uk for volunteering opportunities in your chosen area.

Before you start it’s worth thinking about:

  • how much time you have to give,
  • how far you can travel,
  • what your skills and interests are and
  • what you enjoy doing.

These will all help us to find the right opportunity for you.

If you live elsewhere in the county please refer to the links below for the website and contact details of other countywide Volunteer Centres.
