Pensions Information Project

There is a free pension information service for all those involved in the voluntary and community sector.  At SNVB we see this as an important good practice issue for the whole voluntary sector.

Trustees or management committee members

• Are you aware of your current pension responsibilities towards your staff?
• What are the penalties for not complying?
• Have you considered the impact of impending pensions legislation on your organisation?

Groups of employees

• Would you benefit from a general presentation to unravel the complicated state and private pension systems?

Individuals

• How much state pension will I receive?
• Will my pension be sufficient?
• I used to pay into a pension but have lost touch with my old employer – what can I do?
• I have all these statements which mean nothing to me!

A Pensions Information Worker is based at SNVB and is able to give presentations in your workplace at a time to suit you and your staff.
