Happy at Home Partnership ProjectWe are delighted to inform you that our new project “Happy at Home Partnership” has started! This is a five year Big Lottery Funded project. Its aim is to help older, rurally isolated residents to access available local services, and as a result, feel happier about living in their own homes for longer. The Happy at Home Partnership will help elderly and vulnerable people to;
This is a partnership project with Daventry Volunteer Bureau. It will take on the work previously done under the DASH project in the Daventry District, and the Safe and Sound project in South Northants. Nicola Toms will co-ordinate the project. She will be recruiting new volunteers from the villages to support the project, and is looking forward to working with a number of partner organisations. Road show events to exchange information and advice will be held during the year, bringing together partner organisations working with the rural communities.
